The family hotel Gorfion, Malbun and Liechtenstein's mountains – the right place for a successful family holiday any time of the year

Marmots a plenty – while hiking in the wonderful Malbun nature reserve you will often meet these cute, peaceful animals, whose habitat has to meet high quality standards. Pure, peaceful and genuine nature. Why marmots sleep all winter is a mystery even to us – they probably don’t know the fantastic holiday winter offers.

Maybe they sleep so well because of the good air and all the snow 1,600 meters above sea level. In any case, they haven’t yet been sighted in the Malbun ski and snowboard school, which is right opposite the Gorfion hotel. And although marmots live in families, they are rarely seen on pistes in the family-friendly ski resort Malbun or during winter sport activities off the pistes.

Summer is not only the active time for marmots, but also for you and your family.
As said above, when hiking you see them a lot, but whether they will take part in the Malbun active programme or archeries is not certain. They probably prefer spending their time lying in the sun chewing alpine grass.

But Malbun and Liechtenstein is not only the perfect environment for marmots.
