HikingMountains have the greatest relaxation potential, so experts say. Because: We don’t move enough.
Instead of lying around on the beach half asleep, one just feels good after a hike through smelling forests, across blooming alpine meadows and along clear wild streams.
The small principality of Liechtenstein with its 120km2 may seem amusingly tiny, but the fact that two thirds of this area invite on varied mountain paths makes hikers’ hearts beat faster.
Liechtenstein doesn't only offer runs to the summit of up to 2,600 meters, but also delightful paths in the valley for walks through nature reserves, idyllic landscapes or along the country’s border on the Rhine dam. In total there are more than 400km of well built and signalled hiking routes.
