Cross-country skiing

Steg is a small piece of land at 1,300 metres above sea level with some 20 inhabitants. Winter sportsmen immediately fall in love with its natural beauty. An ideal place to relax and enjoy the nature with your family. Three different kinds of courses are laid, incl. 2km of night course. Idyllically enjoy the glittering snow on cross-country skis through the snowed-in forests and along the river.

You don’t have your own cross-country skiing equipment but would like to try this sport in the Liechtenstein mountains? No problem, in the Malbun sport shop anything can be hired for cross-country skiing.

In the winter Steg is the ideal destination together with the winter sports resort Malbun for a small break from everyday life. You can leave your snowed-in car where it is, as there is a bus every hour which takes the whole family down to Steg and back.
