Winter hiking

If you would like more untouched landscapes, you can explore Liechtenstein’s Alpine landscape on snow-shoes. You can also take some routes in the winter with the pram or with sledge.
Some routes to recommend:
- Sass route:
Simple roundtrip with slight climbs, approx. 2 hrs, approx. 230 altitude metres, route: Malbun - Friedenskapelle - Sass - Sassfurkle - Sass - Schneeflucht – Malbun
- Schwemmi route:
Beautiful route, approx. 2 hrs, approx. 100 altitude metres, route: Steg – dam – parking – to the start of the forest – turn right – Sücka – footpath back to Steg
Tip: Take a sledge (toboggan run from Sücka)
- Philosophers’ route:
Short, simple walk, ideal for families with sledges and prams or older people, approx. 15 minutes, approx. 20 altitude metres, route: Masescha chappel – philosophers’ route – to the holidays homes at the beginning of the forest. Depending upon snow conditions possible all the way to Mitatsch (no winter service)
- Parmezg:
Short, simple walk, approx. 15 minutes, approx. 20 altitude metres, route: Rizlina parking – Parmezg to the beginning of the forest
